AVOCA VILLAGE

Avoca Village is home to Irelands oldest handweaving mill and location for many films the most famous being the BBC series "Ballykissangel".

The Vale of Avoca is a beautiful vale set in the heart of the garden of Ireland and stretches from the Meetings of the Waters to Glenart near Woodenbridge.

Avoca is the ideal base for touring the East and South East coast of Ireland - you can take a day trip to Dublin by rail from Arklow or Rathdrum and avoid the hassle of parking and driving in Dublin.
